This dance course explores dance from the cultural, historical, educational, and anatomical perspective. While learning various styles of dance, the student will understand the value that all dance forms have and how they are related to one another. This course will provide students with opportunities to read, write, discuss and perform the many facets of dance. All students in Grade 7 and Grade 8 who are on the talent track are required to wear a specific dance uniform and ballet and jazz shoes. See Ms. Session for more details.
